The times and dates of posts doesnt tally up properly.Is there something I have to do or is it a hitch on the site?

Hi Budgie the time is set at US time but you can put it right in your profile. in thier you will see time offset. put +5 in the box and you right the time. it shows the current time under the time offset box. Ok

Oh yes if you care to look at the bottom of the screen you will see a group of blue button on the right corner of the page it will say Post reply, Notify, Send Topic and Print topic Click on the Notify button and in future you will be notify anybody you will reply on the post! ;D ;D ;D

Tried that and all I get is-
An Error Has Occurred!
You are already receiving notification of replies to this topic. If you wish to deactivate notification, click the "Notification" link at the top of this page.
But still no notification!

Right everytime you write a new topic or a new reply you will seen a screen at the bottom saying this
Notify of replies:
Disable Smilies:
Lock Post:
Click on that box of Notify of replies but everytime you want to preview on the message you just type out the tick will disappear from the box so make sure you tick it again.
That why you are not getting the notify of the subject.

Budgie when you click notify do you get the screen saying do you want a email notifying you of a reply. yes or no . i get the emails . are any other member not recieving them. please let me know. thank

O only just noticed the time was wrong. of to change it. ps i dont have any prob's with the notify part.

Budgie as you know that I was down at your house at the weekend, and I noctice a few things about why you are not getting the notifying.
I am not a computer expert but I think it might be the following things! We might have to go step by step in order to get everything right
What I did notice that when you tried to log in it welcome you alright but for some reason after posting it is revert back into a guest!
Have you changed any of your profiles setting lately? like your own private password (when joining into the website) and you decided to rename the password?

Right now i know Budgie's problem. COOKIE'S Eddiej same problem, should have sorted his problem now. PROBLEM I login fine, but when I click a link it logs me out! or when you go to post it tell you are only a guest. Your browser is not accepting cookies properly. First check to make sure you have cookies enabled. Also, in Internet Explorer 6 you need to make sure that you have 3rd Party Cookies enabled. You need to enable cookies, do the following: Click on tools on the menubar on your browser Click on Internet Options on the drop menu On the window that pops up, click on the privacy tab Put the arrow and track so that the arrow is on low Click ok This will enable third party cookies: Click on tools on the menubar on your browser Click on Internet Options on the drop menu On the window that pops up, click on the security tab Click on the custom button On the little window that pops up, scroll down to where it says cookies, and make sure the radio button is in the enabled position Click save Simple

Done first section no problem,second couldnt find "cookie" in the drop down menu it took me to.Chasnged security settings to low so if some one can post a reply I will see if I can get any notification.Oh the log on thing now works!
