Yes it is Mr M. Get to the Maypole island turn left onto Alcester road (A435) heading into kings Heath. Go past Fishermans friend at the bend in the road just past the E57 club turn right on to Warstock Lane go straight down on to School road carry on to the end you will see a row of Recycling bins park there and the Lake is in front of you.
This time of year fish the opposite bank walk around the bay and those first 4 pegs are good if you go in the warmer months head for the far island on the same bank. At present the feeder is the top method with chopped worm and caster plus fishmeal ground bait.
Once the frosts come cage feeder with liquidised bread and punch on the hook

Mr M Birmingham City Council controls it and there is no charge for fishing. This time of year a pleasure session will cost a couple of quids in bait.
A loaf of bread 2/3 slices for punching and the rest liquidised plus a few maggots, pinkies and squatts. 90 % will be caught on the punched bread.
Which ever peg you chose to fish cast just under half way across. As you look at the lake from the road the best place to fish this time of year is right in front of you on both banks.
The far bank is generally the more productivity as you walk around you will cross some wooden boards which form a bridge over the outflow. That peg just down the slope can be a flyer it's peg 13 look carefully on the edge and you will see the peg numbers.
I will let you all know how I get on this Sunday and I hope if you give a go you'll let me know how you did.

Forgot Mr M if you wish to use groundbait use a Fishmeal based one the sweet approach doesn't seem to work on the Bream at Trittford.

When fishing this peg your far bank marker is the Silver Birch tree on the opposite bank about half way across. With the pole 10 to 12 m out is fine.
Today's match was won with 25lbs off peg 4 one peg past the 1st Island. Peg 13 nowhere yet all the top four came from that bank albeit top 3 pegs 4,3 and 5 in that order my mate Bazza 4 off peg 11.
Yours truly won the opposite bank we a poultry 4 and a half pound to win the section and 20 quid.
The lake is no in transmission mode from summer to Autumn/winter with the changeable weather the fish are finicky and it's become a little unpredictable.
The general concenus is the pole should be left at home in favour of the Feeder and waggler approach

Sorry yes pretty handy for you both to have a go with the pole it may work on a pleasure session be in the match situation with all the bank activity the fish have moved out. There is a good head of roach.
But for a real workout next summer will be the best. There is a train of thought that reckons that Lodge Pool is turning into a pole venue so take it a long next Junior match or pleasure session there. If you want any help or advice give me a shout.

Well I've booked in any at Trittford this Sunday. It's looking like an out and out feeder or waggler job with the caster and Punch.

Isn't our sport wonderful the fish fooled us all at Trittford today, they backed of the liquidised bread bigt ime. First chuck on the chopped worm and caster feeder rig yours truly put a 2lb 8oz skimmer in the net.
Was I excited or what the next 10 minutes I had 5 liners I'm thinking "Yes I'm on a shed full". I lead the field for 3 and a half hours and the guy on peg 10 start catching roach (my mate Bazza) won the match with just over 9lb on the pole(he was the only one to fish it).
I was beaten into fourth by 10oz I had one further bite a 1oz Perch making my weight 2lb 9oz.
Lesson learnt don't take anything as read and always heve yer pole in the holdall.
