I fish a few lakes, and the only way to catch is get close to the weed or in it. i need a rig to stop lossing tackle.

Biggest "technical" problem I have found when fishing over weed or in to holes in it isnt fish diving in it or the rig getting stuck in it but the main line between the rod tip and the rig sinking into it.The longer the rig is out there the greater the problem. The rig I show below is a simple way around this.A bouyant braided mainline does of course help but isnt essential.Fish the poly ball over depth and wind it down under the surface to fish it. A bonus is you can slacken the line off a bit and the poly ball will pop back up and you can use it as a marker for topping up your freebies!
