I have done it again. Well nearly!
Been out carp fishing today on a private pool with my fishing partner Alec Stephens and it been a few week since I last visited the pool due to me being a junior match secretary and a few odd jobs around the home as well.
The Last time I visited the pool I broke two new personal best carp in the space of twenty minutes.

My set up was still the 3 rods with two of them using the PVA bag with bloodworms pellets and a single Pineapple boilie. As usual my mate Alec pick the wrong side of the so called favourite peg so I was going to fish the other side but on the second thoughts I stayed with him. My first cast was into a little marginal shelf before it drop off deep. The second rod was a bit further down the bushes and the third rod with a single pineapple boilie with a stringer of 5 extra boilies out in the open area.
It was not long after a fruitless hour the first rod of the marginal shelf was away. Picking up the rod and into a sweeping arc and into a big fish. After a lengthy battle it's finally broke the surface and I really thought I have broke the 20lb barrier but until I weigh the fish and the weight was showing 15lb 2ozs. Ah well maybe another time. That equal the personal best!
Again after another hour went by my mate was plenty of line bite despite using backsleads and still no sign of a fish to him. My second bite was not long after the first bite which resulted a single figure mirror carp of 9lb 12ozs - Guess me on a winning peg today and Alec was still getting more and more line bites and false bites as well. The wind was also changing every few minutes in all directions. Alec broke his duck after 1pm when earlier I was making some more carp rigs with a hair rig and a size 8 hook and he pinch one of my made up rig and casted out and within a few minute was into another fish again which result a 10lb 6ozs
And not long after that Alec was into another mirror carp of 9lb 4ozs. Me still had another 3 fish on the bank of 10lb 9ozs, 10lbs 3ozs 7lb 4ozs as well. Just after 2pm my mate Alec was going home as he had visitors coming to his house in the afternoon and I still carried on fishing.
After Alec went home the carps started cruising near the surface, so me being like stalking them on a pedigree chum mixers and as I was getting into the hang of this lark my main first rod suddenly burst again as I hooked it, played a bit and it came off. Well can't win them all!
