Well the Piking day out, coming up on monday. Looking forward to it. Me Andrew, Buzzard, and Eddiej are off to Abbots Salford to try to catch a few Pike. Will have the digital camera at the ready, so we can post any fish caught. Catch you lads Monday

Well we didn't pick the best of days. High water levels, high winds, rain. and Eddie going arse over tit.  . never mind we will have to go again in the future and maybe Budgie can join us.

Sorry to hear you didnt catch lads.The conditions were against you a bit.Cant beat High air pressure conditions for winter piking.Heavy frost,clear skies seem to switch them on.Wet weather and wind are common low pressure weather traits.

Thats right the conditions were against you. I didnt realise the air pressure came into it thanks Budgie. Maybe next time you go Piking i can come with you. Might learn a few things.
