I am off down the Lodge Park Pool to see whats happening. I think Andrew is coming to.

Yes the big day and i booked it off. To visit Kingsbury Water Park. Its in Sutton Coldfield. It as 13 well managed landscaped lakes. Some of the lakes are for specimen hunters.
But most for people like me out for a great days fishing, and you can do it here. big bream , tench , carp and hybrids. plus good head of roach. Cant wait.

I could take the 16th off work but the trouble is if there is one day when everyone who can will be fishing that will be it, so I may well leave it till the weekend, or perhaps even the following weekend.

I had a great day on Sat cos it was the FA cup final, had about three swims either side empty at woodlands and was pulling in small barbel and carp all afternoon....

Well we have found out that most of us will be fishing on the day but what are your methods for the day.

Mine will be using the new feeder rod on maybe luncheon meat , sweetcorn and the good old red worms

No going on the pole, fishing with heavy elastic maybe 14. Going to see what fish show, but tackle up the odd carp.

Well tomorrow morning i will be on the Lodge pool.
The Pool opens on the 1st June.
Sorted all my tackle out, big cleanup. O Andrew when me and Dave cleaned is tackle, we found a pair of Fox forceps. I think they are yours. Sorry mate will get them back to you.

Got some bad news fellas I thought I could make it but just found out they need me in at work on Wednesday.

Bang goes the first fishing session at Lodge Pool!

Carpy as you said about my post is locked - that I wish to remain locked for a long while for me to continue the saga of Andrew Burgess fishing dairy - that why I do not want anyone else to reply on the topic.

Oh by the way I did break the personal best on another water but would dearly love to do it at Lodge Pool.

Carpy don't worry about the forceps, I got plenty of forceps in the house somewhere!

Holiday week for most MrMatthew, i am off all week, and will be dangling the maggot in the morning. ;D
me and dave are getting down to the pool, at about 7.00 in the morning.
And my mother 72 years of age, coming to fish at 9.00 got to get the fishing licence renewed at the post office.
