The Go Fishing Show is comming to the N.E.C. On the 1 to 3 of April. Looks likeit will be a good show. But tickets at £12.00  Might still go |

Carpy at £12 that is too expensive and don't forget the car parking,  s, and grub it soon add up : I think it is a rip off and it have been for years! I rather go to a proper show where you can see new products and see what you think of them, try thing like holding a 16 metre pole and buy things. The very first show I went to it was more like hundreds of tackle shops were trying to compete with one another. Just have to look around for the real bargins |

If any of you do go to the show make the effort to have a look at my old mate Les Webbers stand.Cant remember the stand number (maybe Andrew can?)- Yes Budgie - Les Webber Angling Project stand is H17  ;D He will be promoting his Angling Projects,this gives groups of between 8 and 22 youngsters the chance to stay in the club house next to his lake at Wraysbury and give angling a try.He offers this for FREE! All groups must be accompanied by group leaders/teachers etc and be pre booked. Also he will be promoting his latest venture- Junior Course Angling (UK). Through this Les has actually managed to get Angling on several schools curiculums! Not only does this teach kids angling but incorporated into this are the three essentials of education ie reading ,writing and arithmatic.He funds all of this himself or through donations. Imagine how much more exciting maths would have been if we were working out the weight of shot for various floats rather than the price of a pound of apples! Pop in and see Les and find out for your selves what he does.Remember the future of angling isnt in the hands of politicians,tackle dealers or who ever but in getting youngsters in to the sport. Any teachers/youth workers/police liason officers who are interesteed please contact me and I will give you Les's contact details. |
