Glad that everyone enjoy the day out on the Lodge Park Pool. Really enjoy my day helping other anglers out and a big thank you to Carpy on taking the pictures.
After all that time and effort, I put in, I think maybe in the near future hope to be a regular do every year and hopefully raise some donations for the good cause in our area.

That Heron only sat on a floating log and "sailed" around the lake! I think if he could have, he would have saluted all and sundry. Seriously though, what a wonderful location to rest AND catch the odd BIG fish. Once again thanks to Andrew and all the guys who made this possible!

Andrew make it a yearly event. I did not fish on the day, but enjoyed every minute of it. Got to to put faces to names. I got to see everyone over the day. I stayed with Budgie & Argyll (Gerry) most of the time. We had fun, both fantastic people, and really enjoy their fishing. Then you have Klienboet two nice carp caught. I landed one for him. He as got a great hat when it rains, its got a umbrella on it. ;D Alan Stubbs and family. Brilliant to see, so enthusiastic, the daughter caught her first fish. shown on the pictures. Same with MrMatthew he was with is son. Wicker Dave came late and fished on peg 42 he was catching well when i left, will have to let me know how you got on. Deanbmw posted on anglersnet somebody helped his kid out with is rig. That was the Norman on the committee. Worked Dean your son was soon into a nice carp. Brilliant day Andrew you should be proud.

Glad you enjoy the day Matthew. Shame about Alan losing a big one but the best bit so far was Budgie hooking a duck on a floating candle method.
It look good fun - must have an go for a duck session sometimes ;D

Just joined the forum in order to thank Andrew, Frank and any other members that showed up on the day and gave help, particularly Andrew and Frank.
What a great little water you have there. I drove up from London and when I pulled into the car park I had no idea what I was going to see next. The landscaping, the well maintained swims and the convenient parking and clubhouse were a pleasant surprise.
Dont usually fish for carp so I had to borrow a few things and learn fast. Had a whale of a time, caught a few fish and lost a good few more. If I hadn't had a three hour drive home, I'd still be there and you would have had to call the police to get me off the water. Love to fish there aqain some time in the future. Thanks again. Gerry

Gerry, I am glad that you had a superb time on our pool and again it is a brilliant water to fish it when the carp start feeding well.
It one just one of those days when carp did show up but not in large numbers as I hope for.
So next time if you come up again you will know what tackle to bring and what fishing method to do as well.
Hopefully I might start this as a regular fish ins on this water but will have to wait and see.
