Angling trip of a life time

We all have a fantasy of that angling holiday of a life time. If you had unlimited spending power.
What would be your dream venue be.

I still could still love to have a holiday in Spain and fish the Ebro for the big cat's.

A luxury boat out of Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia catching all manner of fish but particularly shark.

Byron is approx 1 1/5 hours drive south of Brisbane, Queensland.

Anyone fancy an intercontinental fish-in?! ;D

Unfortunately I am busy next weekend. There's also the small problem of the cost....

Good question Frank.Even though during my time as a guide I supplied "trips of a life time" for many I dont know what I would now want myself to meet that bill.

Having done so many trips abroad and after some exotic species I do tend to take what many think of as "trips of a lifetime" as the norm!

That said though I still find a trip to the Itchen,grayling fishing or the Avon for barbell exciting! Fishing definately doesnt have to be in foriegn locations for big/exotic fish to be interesting for me.


So if I could only have one more "trip of a lifetime" where would it be to and what for? I will give it some thought.

I could look after a couple of millions for in a safe place, for you Budgie.
Fantasy fishing trip. All ways wanted to go to Australia too, but to go Marlin fishing. Friend went 2 years ago and never stops talking about it.
But dont worry you 2 million will be safe Budgie.
