WOW great weight. i am lucky to catch 100lb of fish in a season. ;D Will stick to fishing rivers, can't hack sitting on a pool waiting for a bit. Like to be active and in control.

Saturday's match was the final of this year's summer open matches which began in early June and finished last week. The results from all the matches will hopefully be published on the site soon. The general view is that the Pool has fished really well this year and I sure the results will bear this out.
From a personal point of view I've had better results than last year's campaign but there's still much room for improvement.
Wherever I fish I am a busy angler be it a lake, pool, canal, river or puddle, the winning tatics on the Pool have been pole (method feeder and Float) and on the rod with both the method feeder and the Candle with the chum mixers.Fish the latter method and see if you get bored.
