Yes it's that time again Bank clearing is every Sunday in May and you can pay your subs in the club noon to 2:00pm on the same dates. Bank clearing starts I believe at 08:00am.
Full members £21 plus £5 bank clearing levy and your Social club subs are around £11:00 Total £37. Juniors subs have been reduced to £5 with no bank clearing levy.
Other news from yesyerday's AGM is that all officers were elected
unopposed. New trustees were elected and 4 new committee members were also elected.
I was also re elected on to the committee.
The only major proposed rule change was to ban surface fishing and feeding.That proposal was rejected by the meeting.
A long debate took place regarding the bank repairs,provision of a bridge to the Island pegs and general maintence.
In a nutshell it will cost £5k to repair pegs 1 to 8 and provide a bridge thats if we pay contractors to complete the work.
My understanding is that we will see how the bank clearing days go and what we can achieve ourselves.
If the committee feel that they need further member guidance they will call a EGM to resolve the matter.
It was also agreed to reduce junior membership to £5 to try and encourage more juniors to take part.
