Hello All,
I'm Stu, a new member of the LPAA Forum.
I live in Alvechurch with my wife and 3 kids aged 7yrs, 5yrs and 17months. However, I'm not a local - I'm originally from London and moved up here last year from Hertfordshire because of a work relocation. So I'm just about getting to know places, waters etc. So if you see a thirty-something in a green Frontera going round and round Redditch's roundabouts (why do locals call them "islands"?) with the kids in the back shouting "Where we going Dad?, I feel sick!" then you know that's me!
I'm not at this time a member of the LPAA, as I've only just found this site, oh and the pool. Although I like the sound of your 9 til 1 matches on Sundays, due to the fact I have kids, but at present even they clash with the usual mix of swimming lessons etc etc. But hopefully I'll be able to do some of the evening opens from July.
As for my fishing, well that really has taken a back seat for a few years due to the afore-mentioned ankle-biters and work. But I'm starting to get back into it now. I'd describe myself as a club angler first and foremost, but I do fish a few opens and have fished for a few teams in the past. My preference is rivers, but I'm happy fishing all waters although I have to admit that I'm only now getting to grip with all these carp puddles. Bring back chub! ;D
Anyway, that's me.
Stu
