i have already left a couple of threads but am still trying to find my way around the site ! Its a great site and i am enjoying reading your views and tips immensley. i am due to join the LPRA and the club when i get paid !!!!
I am also interested in fishing the mid week matches but can anyone tell me what the rules are and if there are any bait bans ??
I do a variety of different fishing i love coarse obviously and particulary like the local rivers bashing the barbel. I have dabbled with specialised carp fishing although not with much success, plenty of fish but no giants !!!! and have recently started fly fishing at Draycote which is very difficult to master after casting a waggler most of my fishing life !!!!! Oh and i have also bobbed around on the sea a few times too !
One discipline though that i have also been thinking of having a go at is predator fishing and i notice that some of you guys are experts so any help on rigs local venues etc would be much appreciated. Talking of local venues the man made pool is FULL of pike and im sure some of them are big as i saw one attack a friends keep net the other day for roach !!!!
Anyway it will be great to hear from people on this great site and i look forward to making my first cast into Lodge pool !!!!
