THE MONTANA NYMPH The original was designed to imitate large dark stonefly nymphs of Northern American streams and rivers. It has however become very popular in the UK as a general attracter pattern especially on still waters. The pattern shown here is tied with the traditional lime green thorax but variations come in several thorax colours. As with most nymphs they come both leaded and unleaded. A selection of both in size 10 sufices. Can be fished at various depths and speeds. A good early season pattern.
