Hi I'm looking to book a few caravan holidays with my dear wife. But they must have good course fishing facility's close to the site. Anyone got any good suggestions. Went to Devizes last year and meet Carpy, and we fished the Kennet & Avon canal.

There are a couple on the Severn above Bewdley and also on the Avon (Warwickshire) at Harvington.Andrew and the other Redditch lads should be able to give you more info mate.
Ive fished both of the rivers at these locations and can vouch for them.

Max, Take a look at the following sites. White Acres - www.parkdeanholidays.co.uk/white-acres-holiday-park.htm This is a great fishery/campsite near Newquay in Cornwall, with options for match, pleasure and specimen fishing. It's a bit pricey in summer but probably the market-leader in fisherman-friendly campsites. They hold many festivals each year including the £25,000 Parkdean Masters. There are even residents only matches mid week, with the winner winning a holiday. Cofton Country Holidays - www.coftonholidays.co.uk This is a much smaller site, and is near Dawlish on the south Devon coast. I haven't been there yet but am very likely to be off there this summer for a break with the missus, kids and brother-in-law and his family. Stafford Moor - www.staffordmoor.co.uk/ This is another good fishery that comes highly recommended and is on my list of places to visit. It's in North Devon, south of Barnstaple but not on the coast. Again match, pleasure and specimen fishing is all covered. Let us know where you decide to go and how you get on. Cheers, Stu
