Fish the river most and get the best results from the stick I like to be working all the time, sitting on a feeder no way.

The places i fish club waters on the Teme and Avon i get the best results from fishing the waggler. I am new to the pole but using i more every time i fish. So i will stick with the waggler.

I went for the 'others' like for specimen fishing but as all ways I do all sort of different fishing methods - as I might called myself as a allrounder ;D who like a bit of everything! ;D

Ive gone for Pole Fishing, but Stick and the Wag come a close 2nd. I do more pole fishing than the other, but winter time it's great to run a stick down the Avon. Pure Bliss..............  trout

Like Andrew I am an all round angler and enjoy using all methods! An average week for me could see me using the pole during one of my local clubs evening matchs,a carp outfit fishing a floater during a dawn stalking session one early morning before work session,an afternoons trout fishing with a light fly outfit at my small syndicate water and live and dead baiting for pike at the weekend! Untill the sea fishing became so poor at least two nights a week would have found me casting 5ozs leads to the horizon for cod. I like the variety of both different species and different methods. For me the ultimate moment in angling ,regardless of species or method is the bite,so it dont matter if its a float going under or an alarm screaming or a rod tip ding. For the poll I ticked "stick float" I did this as trotting a float, especially with my centrepin,is a method I never tire of.The fact that I dont get the chance to do it as much now is also why.

As long as I'm catching I'm happy, but my favourite method has to be the wag & mag catching chub on my old stamping grounds of the Thames, Kennet and Lea. ;D
