Other than consumables(ie hooks line etc) I havnt brought much tackle for years.
This year however I decided to get a new brolly/bivvy.After using Andrews Dave Lane STi Brolly at the Wingham fish in I was so impressed I had to get one! Been a long time scince a piece of kit has impressed me that much.
Anyone else brought anything new or want to get something they like the look of?

Carpy won't live that down. ;D I would love to buy a new seatbox, but straped for cash. I have a old Shakespeare blue plastic box, which has done its job over the years. I fish all types of waters, but when i fish on canals, i would like to be able to have a seatbox that accommodates, one that you can dispose of the bottom section with all the reels in, and carry what you want to. I have looked around at a few but the price of them put me off. The wife says 150 pounds tops, i found i few around that price but the quality was very poor or not to my spec. Any suggestions welcome. thanks

Hi Dace sadly your spec and build quality as you have found doesn't match your budget. I would suggest buying a basic box that you can add to in stages i.e a modulator like the Boss or Rive. The idea behind these types of boxes is too be able to adapt the box to your requirements on a given session be it canal, lake or carp puddle.
Now is the time to buy especially at Fishermans Friend Kings Heath 15% off but shop around reminder buy cheap buy twice.
