I used to hate every few season when i changed my monofilments lines from 2lbs B.S.(Breaking Strain) to 15lb B.S. as I used to strip the line by hand wind and cutting it into small pecies. Until I brought this gadget - The Berkley line stripper The beauty about this gadet that it strips fishing line in 60 seconds or less - works on all line from 2lb to 50lb in size. Comes complete with a built in hook sharpener. It works on two AA batteries. Can be used on both spinning and baitcasting reels. Strips both freshwater and salthingyer lines. Includes sharpening stone for hook touch-ups. This unit will peel off miles and miles of line before you will need to replace the batteries. It will work for 2lb to 50lb line and will save you lots of time, not to mention sore shoulders from pulling old line off your reels. ;D ;D It cost around £6.99 in the small one and the large one cost around £12 or under but shop around for them!

Been using them since 88 and wouldnt be without one! The "hook sharpener" is a waste of space and the screw on end cap seems to break easily (Ive been through three) but still well worth having.
