Grand Union Canal. (Knowle) From bridge 73 to 75. Directions. Take M42 to junction5. Take A4141 sign posted Knowle. Carry on this road - over first island. Take 2nd left Hampton Road - sign posted for Eastcote. Canal is approximately three quarters of a mile . Parking is on left just before canal bridge. We have the stretch to the left looking at the bridge for 3 bridges. Alternatively Take A4141 to Knowle. Take first left road is named Jacobean Lane. Follow road for three quarters of a mile go over canal bridge and park on verge. Please note there is limited parking at this end.

Stratford Canal (dickens Heath Bridge 15 - 16 Directions:- Take M42 to junction 4. Take A34 towards Birmingham. At 4th island take left onto B4102. Carry straight on at first island. Take 2nd right which is thingyens Heath Road. At fork in road take the right fork. Canal bridge is quarter of a mile - parking on right hand side before bridge. We have stretch to left looking at the bridge from where your parked for 4 bridges And to right for 1 bridge. Aternatively Do not turn left into thingyens Heath Road but continue for three quarters of a mile. Turn right into Lady Lane. Take first right into Braggs Farm Lane - canal is quarter of a mile. We have stretch looking at bridge for 4 bridges to right and 1 bridge to left. Alternatively As above but continue on Lady Lane until you reach canal bridge. We have stretch for 5 bridges to the left.

Man Made Ipsley pool. Directions off to the left from town on Old Forge Drive. Good head of carp in this pool. Smaller than lodge pool but some great pegs by the carpark. one of our members Carl Bovington had this lovely 20lb Carp from the boards.

Abbot's SalfordDirections to Abbot's Salford Waters take the main Redditch to Alcester road. Then get on the bye pass to Evesham. Second Island take the Salford Prior turning. Follow that road for about 2 miles thier is a turning on the left to the Abbot's Salford Caravan Park. When you get to the enterance to the park turn right down the dirt track. You can park by the river.

Yes thats right MrMathews i must join the BAA again. I stopped beening a member 15 to 20 years ago when they sold off all the good venues, to pay for the new BAA Club, and put the membership up a £5 a year. But i will give them a go this year, see how things go. Do they still have all the best waters booked over the weekend. How much is it to join the BAA this year.

Carpy, I agreed with you when the BAA sold a lot of good waters to pay for the new BAA club Carpy to join the BAA it will cost you £27.00 you can even apply online now at this link www.baa.uk.com/but I wouldn't join now as it is nearly half of the yearly membership is gone. Wait until January 1st 2006.

Purely by accident I was fishing the Grimley Section of the Severn the day before the BAA lost the rights this March - Top Barn Farm have taken it back for themselves...
Mind due the bank needs a lot of work doing to make it fishable for more than a handfull of anglers unless they fancy wading - and I caught b***er all.
