Been here twice in the last fortnight, the tench (my fave fish) have really switched on so I went back after enjoying it the first time.. Furnace Mill is set in some of the most attractive countryside in the Midlands and comprises four pools on a 27-acre woodland site in the heart of the Wyre Forest, about eight miles from Bewdley and 10 miles from Kidderminster. On-site facilities include car park and toilets plus a 60-seater cafe and snack bar which is open at week-ends and Bank Holidays and which serves hot and cold snacks, breakfasts, s and confectionery. Because of the large numbers of fish caught at Furnace Mill, anglers are requested to use only one rod at a time and to prevent potential dietry problems to use only pellets, paste and boilies which are purchased at the fishery.
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind riving out there...

Tench, in abundance, although most 1-3lb mark, carp a bit bigger but not by much (some might be F1s but I don't really know the difference) Goldfish/Crucian hybrids, Rudd, really small bream, and a 2lb roach... although that might have been hybrid too...
I'm taking my little lad for the day tomorrow, hopping a little success will encourage him
