Frank and I had a trip over to Earlswood lakes today and we had a stonking time. We fished the Engine pool and although the lake is about 6 feet down and you have to fish on the beach it was excellent. Each of us had over 100lbs of fish. We were using luncheon meat and tooty fruity sweet corn and that did the trick on the method feeder. Definitely Recommended by Frank and I. Here are a few pics (or there will be soon).

Very nice lads you two are spoiling yourselves with all these fish. Earlswood Engine has been fishing it's brains out with over 200lb to frame. Most of the big weights recently have been on the pole peg permitting.
Catmeat hookbait over groundbait consisting of catmeat,6 & 8mm pellet. Best catmeat apparently Optima from Lidl Salmon and tuna flavour.

Yes well done lads. I made a visit to Earlswood today, and the water level is very low, i would say 8 feet down. Most of the anglers i spoke too, said it was fishing great but it is not very deep on most of the pegs. To land fish you need to waded out about 10 feet to land the fish safely. But i will be taking a visit to Earlswood very soon.
