Spent a weekend up north of the country fishing on various waters on the weekend of 15th/16th November. Had 1 small jack pike of 4lb from the canal on the 15th November using a polaris float set up and a half herring deadbait. I have to chin the jackpike out of the water because the treble was on the outside of the pike mouth. If I did net the fish then the hooks would tangled up the net and put the fish in greater risk of injuries www.uncutfishing.co.uk/video/andrew_burgess.WMVthe second half of the video was on a private small pool - again the hooks was on the outside of it's mouth but didn't claim the fish in my hands!

Went out yesterday to do a bit of piking in the Rivers but most were flooded or high up. Ended up at Man Made Pool or Ispley Pool for a session there! Very quite indeed!

Went out yesterday in the freezing fog and Abbott Salford Lake was frozen, so went over to Clifford Chambers and the water was still like chocolate!
