Went on my first fishing outing today, down at ipsley pool, very pleasant, but no fish. used meat, brad flake and sweetcorn as baits, but apart from a couple of little knocks, nothing doing. Another chap was catching small silvers on float. The chosen method was feeder and groundbait.
