Yes it won't be long now. Three different cameras already in the rucksack. Just got to order a rod high tripod from Leslies of Luton on a mail order this tripod is for the Barbel fishing near the town as my older brother told me it all concrete banks there

Also got to sort out my old mobile phone tomorrow and start bring all the fishing and camping gear down from the loft into the spare computer/dining room

Got all the necessary travel insurance and tackle insurance today and the euros ;D

I think you have the cameras sorted Will your mobile work ok over thier. I can see you will be busy over the next few days. And its good to see you have sorted out insurance. You never know. Wish it was me. ;D

No I won't be ing while I'm fishing. More likely on the soft fizzy s - I get lpaweb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/drunk.gif on them than on the alcohol bottle beers/lagers ;D

Tomorrow (Saturday 4th September) I will be setting off to France.

While I am out in France I will be sending daily reports on what is going on and how well I am doing ;D

All the daily reports will be put on this thread " My Fishing Diary" ;D so I won't able to see what my mother will be writing down on this website.

Carpy have given me the go head to do this. So I will see you all after the holiday. And hopefully there will be some cracking pictures of my fishing holiday.

Caught the ferry at 1 a.m. this morning. It only took an hour and half but guess who took a wrong turning in Paris we wasted some time - my brother who has been there lots of times and lived there for the best part of a year. We finally got to Pont de Vaux at lunch time. We are now going on to Macon to pick up our fishing licences.

(Comment from Mum) I don't suppose they will do much fishing until tomorrow now but that's when the serious stuff will start.
